How to get Google reviews from QuickBooks customers
The best time to ask for a review is right after the customer pays in full. The job is done and the customer is happy to close it out.
Steps
- Get your Google review link. In your Google Business Profile, click "Ask for reviews" and copy the link.
- Pick the trigger. Use "invoice paid in full" (balance $0). Do not ask after a deposit or a partial payment.
- Pick the contact. Use the customer's main email or mobile phone in QuickBooks.
- Write a short ask. Thank them, ask for a Google review, and add the link. One sentence is enough.
- Send one reminder at most. If there is no click after a few days, send one follow-up, then stop.
- Ask everyone. Google does not allow incentives for reviews or filtering out unhappy customers (Google's prohibited and restricted content policy).
